IN AUGUST OF 2025 - PLANNED MY WIFE'S FIRST TRIP TO EUROPE

I BOOKED TRIP ON ICELANDAIR WITH BUSINESS-CLASS (.COM)

AND I BOUGHT STANDARD PROTECTION - OVER EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS IN ALL

IN JAN - I STARTED EXPERIENCING PARALYSIS IN ARMS AND LEGS

I HAD AN MRI WHICH NECESSITATED EMERGENCY SURGERY TO FIX MY NECK

PRIOR TO SURGERY - I REACHED OUT TO BUSINESS-CLASS (.COM)

I EXPLAINED THE ISSUE

WAS TOLD NO PROBLEM (NAOMI) SINCE I HAD STANDARD PROTECTION

BUSINESS-CLASS (.COM) CANCELED THE $7000 TICKET

I HAD THE SURGERY FEB 17 - NOW I HAVE A TITANIUM NECK

SURGEON PROHIBITED TRAVEL AND DOCUMENTED

FOLLOWING SURGERY - I SENT IN PAPERWORK TO BUSINESS-CLASS (.COM)

WITHIN AN HOUR - THEY DENIED REFUND

SO I ASKED WHAT MY OPTIONS WERE

TO REBOOK TICKET

* $700 REBOOKING FEE

* MUST BOOK BY MARCH 29

* MUST COMPLETE TRAVEL BY AUGUST 29 (AND RETURN TO DENVER)

* BE PREPARED TO PAY ADDITIONAL FOR TiCKET

WOW - PREDATORY COMPANIES

IT SEEMS THAT BUSINESS-CLASS (.COM) IS CONSPIRING TO TAKE MY MONEY

SO I CALL ICELANDAIR ...

THEIR RESPONSE - "WE WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU - GO TO THE TRAVEL AGENT"

THEY REQUESTED I DO A THREE WAY CALL FROM THE TRAVEL AGENCY

SO I CALL BUSINESS-CLASS (.COM)

BUT THEY WILL NOT DO A CALL WITH AIRLINE WITH ME ON THE CALL - HUH?

AND THEY STATE THAT ICELANDAIR HAS STATED THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHNG

ICELANDAIR REFUSES TO PROVIDE ANY SOLUTION

(AND THE TRAVEL AGENT SAYS THIS IS TYPICAL FOR ICELANDAIR - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE)

SO THEN I CALL BACK ICELANDAIR

I ASK THEM TO INITIATE THE CALL - BUT THEY REFUSE

SO WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ....

SO - HERE I SIT -

MY INITIAL TICKET WAS DENVER - ICELAND - PARIS / PRAGUE - STOCKHOLM - ICELAND - DENVER

BUSINESS CLASS FOR TWO .. OVER $7500

WHEN I TRIED TO BOOK WITH THE ORIGINAL TRIP - IT CAME TO NEARLY 10K MORE - HUH???

SO I TRIED TO COME UP WITH ALTERNATIVES -

BUT EVEN FLYING TO LONDON AND RETURNING WAS NEARLY $5000 MORE

AND IF I WANT TO A STOP IN ICELAND - AN ADDITIONAL $6000

SO TODAY I REACHED OUT AGAIN TO BUSINESS-CLASS - I DOUBT THEY WILL ACT

IN SUMMARY -- 2 WEEKS LATER ON TRYING TO FIND A SOLUTON ...

60+ EMAILS TO BUSINESS-CLASS AND 3 PHONE CALLS

4 EMAILS AND 4 CALLS TO ICELANDAIR WITH NO DESIRE TO ACT

AND YOU WILL KNOW WHY I WILL NEVER USE BUSINESS-CLASS (.COM)

AND WILL NEVER FLY ON ICELANDAIR AGAIN
